I had a great time at utah riders ed, i took the basic MSF course and i learned alot, i feel way more comfortable on a motorcycle than i ever have before, and alot more confident in my ability to safely ride, I still have alot to learn, but all the basics i learned will help out alot in my riding while im learning and i guarantee this class has saved a life or two. I will be taking the ARC (advanced riders course) aswell as i hone in on my skills. my coaches mindo and briggs were awesome and they helped me learn alot. Taking the Basic Rider Course was a fantastic experience! The instructors were so awesome, and it was SO much fun learning how to ride a bike for the first time. If you are skeptical or have any doubts, just do it!! Its so much fun and I didn't realize I'd have such a good time with it. My instructors Briggs and Kyle were incredible and did an excellent job bringing a calm yet confident atmosphere to the course, which helped immensely with learning. I had never ridden a motorcycle of any sort prior to this class. The instructors, Eric and Rico, were knowledgeable, patient, and just overall outstanding. They made me feel comfortable riding, and shared plenty of personal stories and hints and tips to help us out. I opted for the $50 retest option on their 650 (it was a Suzuki DR650 dual sport at this class) and that is an excellent option, even if you don't plan on riding a 650+ CC bike right away. It prevents you from having to take the riding test at the DMV if you ever decide to go for a bigger bike. It was a great experience, and I plan on taking the experienced rider course next year if I can. Read Less

I just took my second course with them and I loved it! I did the beginner course last year since I'd never ridden before. I went from being afraid to ride to LOVING IT! Then I took the advance last weekend to get my endorsement and it is worth every penny! Not only did it improve my riding skills dramatically, but I learned some life saving skills! This class was awesome! Ours was split up into two days. Half of Saturday was spent in a classroom where we learned various rules and skills pertaining to riding a motorcycle. We were then tested at the end of the class. The second half of the day was then spent learning to ride! Our teacher was super patient and encouraging and really took his time to make sure we were safe and getting our fair share of one on one time. On Sunday, we spent another half of the day riding and were tested at the end. It wasn't the easiest test but come to find out you need to make A LOT of mistakes to fail the test so it's likely that you'll pass so long as you take the class seriously. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to ride a two-wheeler. I definitely have more of an appreciation and awareness of motorcyclists now and am so excited to get riding! Read Less

THIS HAS BEEN THE FUNNEST THING I HAVE DONE IN A LONG TIME!!! I was terrified because I had NO experience with motorcycles but they take you through it step by step! I think the instructor's name i had is Steve, he is funny and makes the lecture interesting by telling really good personal experience stories. Not once was I stressed. As a beginning motorcyclist, I wanted to take some MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) courses to get some more skills and advice on how to ride safely. The classes were very helpful and informational, and the instructors were good, I especially liked Dale. Funny guy. I felt like there was a lot more to be learned, but they covered the basics, and I suppose for a beginner's course, that's all that's necessary! Also, if you graduate from the class, you will get a card that will waive the riding portion of your motorcycle license exam through the Utah Driver's License Division.If you recently purchased a motorcycle, whether you are a new rider or have been riding for years, take a course from them! They don't just offer beginner courses, they also have advanced courses and more! They also have locations in Salt Lake City and Utah County. Great people, great classes!
