I recently used Patriot for the driver improvement course. I spoke with Kristin who answered the questions I had about the course and how points worked and provided the information on getting started. After the final exam I received my certificate right away with no delays. . I was very happy with the service they provided.

I'm writing this review nearly 2 years late. Thankfully I passed my test on the first try.
However my very first lesson was with the owner, Ms. Edna. Horrible would be an understatement, I am someone who suffers from anxiety and she did nothing but made it worse. She labeled me as a "basket case" and I felt unconfident about everything. However, all the other instructors were amazing and reassuring. I had to rely on my mom to instruct me on driving days before the final test and I passed. I would NOT recommend this driving school.

This is the absolute worse place ever. Our youngest daughter went there for lessons a year ago and I was not impressed with the ways of practice: on paid private lessons, they pack a car with other teens she never met before making it uncomfortable for her, but I let that one pass. For my oldest daughter that is a young adult extremely nervous to drive and has no clue, on her very first lesson with the older lady as an instructor (Edna the owner) she informed me that "my daughter will have to drive every day now until her next lesson with them to be better" which somehow makes sense BUT at the same time that's why they are getting paid for: to provide lessons for those that cannot be taught by parents for different reasons (fear, lack of time and such). To make things worse, on the day of booking the next lesson for her, the owner (again, rude owner Edna!) told my daughter that they will only take cash....I thought this was weird as we have paid on card and check before, so I called myself to confirm and this lady excuse was that "for adult lessons they only take cash as sometimes adults that pay with check never comeback" or something like that (my daughter is 20 but she looks/acts and live like a 16 teen hence why we/the parents are still responsible for her!). I explained that we were not only return customers but also it was difficult for me to get out of work on a last-minute thing to get cash or to get a certified bank check. I told her about her very poor customer service and terrible manners and I wanted to cancel for good, and then she gave me the Venmo option (which I agreed) so my daughter could continue...then 10 min later this woman TEXT to say she has decided that was best not to "work with us" and canceled her lesson. I was right from the get-go about this lady not only on her TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS but on her teaching skills: no manners, no empathy and no patience teaching my nervous daughter. Stay away from this place!

Took the drivers ed classes and road skills classes a few years ago now (late to making a review I know), and the experience was nothing less than irritating and upsetting. The classes were quick which was nice. Ms. Edna was an incredibly unlikable instructor, especially during the road lessons. My driving test was a nightmare for many reasons, some of which were due to Ms. Edna who did nothing but make the experience worse, and in the end she didn’t even tell me I passed, I had to ask her after being given things to sign. I left my test not feeling accomplished instead feeling upset. It may be the only good out of school option, but the only reason I gave it more than one star was become some of the other instructors were great.

My daughter and I had a great experience with Patriot Driving School. Ms. Edna was very nice to work with and was very flexible around my daughter's sports schedule. The vehicles are in excellent condition, the instruction was quality, and the price was reasonable. I will use Patriot again and would recommend to friends.

There aren't many words I can say. This had to be the most unorganized business I've ever have dealt with. You have to call over and over to schedule driving sessions. Just to be sent to a voicemail a...
There aren't many words I can say. This had to be the most unorganized business I've ever have dealt with. You have to call over and over to schedule driving sessions. Just to be sent to a voicemail and not receive a returned call. Teenagers trying to obtain a driver's license are minors and do not have authority to schedule their own classes, and yet they call the CHILD about such things. They don't have a good tracking system and will come back later and tell you that a class has been missed and you are being charged an additional $50. Who scheduled the class? It wasn't me! Or did you again call the student to set up a class. They need a secretary in the office to prevent so many missed calls. This place I would not recommend at all. They got the one star only because I had too.

They are great, they make sure you are comfortable behind the wheel, and know all the rules on the road.

if i could give NO stars i would...but i HAD to give one. Edna is a very rude, abrupt, and little no patient person. Their website does not ask, (so you can decide if their school is a fit) if your child has any special needs such as an IEP or 504 for needed accomodations.(they asked my son on the first day in front of other students) nor do they tell you that the class is so fast paced and covers 3 chapters a day..from 8 to 11:30am..It is a 9 day course, yes, but there is no daily outlined curriculum a parent can see before the sink their money into the program. Also, they do not allow any for abscences or emergencies. the only makeup period they allow is coming in 30 minutes early a day. my son missed 1 day, 3 chapters..then we stayed up together THE ENTIRE EVENING doing all 3 chapters and a full pages typed single spaced report on fatigued driving. my son didnt go to bed until 3am and was so sick to his stomach from his nerves being torn up that he couldnt make it in at 8. we wanted to come in at 930. she called me back at 830am and told me with the day before that he is losing that day also, that there is NO WAY for him to make up the classes he needs to pass. after class was over that day, she told me he cant finish even after completing all of his work. She didnt make me aware at that time that the school attendence was crucial because there is NO wiggle room to miss time...nor does it state it in their website. PARENTS BEWARE. it is like taking lessons from a rude worker at DMV. very unforgiving, crass and rude. overtalks you when you challenge her or ask for explanations. I am not disgruntled nor seeking some type of hype. All I know is this that i should have done my homework BEFORE i lost my money. he still doesnt have his license and I am out of money. Also..by the way..she made it a point to embarrass my son by pointing out "its too much" that she saw his boxers when he stretched after sitting for so long when class was over. My son looked confised and he said, "ok?" she said she doesnt need him to talk back, to do what she says without returned response. EXCUSE ME? that is my son. he is very modest and doesn't go around flashing is boxers or sagging his pants. all she had to do was say NOTHING. NEVER AGAIN.

I spoke with Kristin who answered the questions I had about the course and how points worked and provided the information on getting started. However my very first lesson was with the owner, Ms. Edna. Horrible would be an understatement, I am someone who suffers from anxiety and she did nothing but made it worse. She labeled me as a "basket case" and I felt unconfident about everything. However, all the other instructors were amazing and reassuring. This is the absolute worse place ever. Our youngest daughter went there for lessons a year ago and I was not impressed with the ways of practice: on paid private lessons, they pack a car with other teens she never met before making it uncomfortable for her, but I let that one pass. Took the drivers ed classes and road skills classes a few years ago now (late to making a review I know), and the experience was nothing less than irritating and upsetting. The classes were quick which was nice. Ms. Edna was an incredibly unlikable instructor, especially during the road lessons. My driving test was a nightmare for many reasons, some of which were due to Ms. Edna who did nothing but make the experience worse, and in the end she didn’t even tell me I passed, I had to ask her after being given things to sign. My daughter and I had a great experience with Patriot Driving School. Ms. Edna was very nice to work with and was very flexible around my daughter's sports schedule. The vehicles are in excellent condition, the instruction was quality, and the price was reasonable. I will use Patriot again and would recommend to friends.
