The company I work for, Strand Tenders, paid for my schooling because of the reputation of the school. I joined the Auburn campus and had great success there. All the instructors at CDS are amazing and very supportive. They won't let you fail...there is no such thing. The office staff is irreplaceable and I loved my experience. Thank you all at CDS.

I had an excellent experience at this school, attending both the Auburn location for classroom instruction and the Lakewood training yard for hands-on practice. The first week was spent in the classroom with Instructor Al, who explained everything thoroughly and made complex topics easy to understand. Thanks to his guidance, I passed all three permit tests at the DMV, as well as my triples and doubles endorsement and tanker endorsement.
The following three weeks were spent training at the Lakewood yard. Instructor Andy was extremely passionate about helping every student succeed and provided clear, calm instruction throughout the training. Craig, another instructor, had a great teaching style that helped me finally understand shifting and turning on the road. Joe was also an outstanding instructor—straightforward. He especially helped me improve my backing skills; even when I was nervous, he made the process manageable by guiding me through each maneuver step by step.
I would also like to mention that Daniela in the office was extremely helpful—she had answers to all of my questions regarding funding, financial aid, and everything else I needed to know before starting at CDS. Daniela went above and beyond to help me find ways to make the school financially affordable.
Additionally, I stopped by the school a day before starting and Lane took the time to show me around. He provided all the information I needed and made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to begin this new career adventure with CDS. Both Daniela and Lane truly made a great impression and made the process easy from the very beginning.
Overall, I highly recommend this school to anyone pursuing their CDL.

CDS is a great school to help you obtain your CDL! The admin is quick to reach out to prospective students and the instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and invested in their students’ success!! In the classroom, Al taught the curriculum in an engaging way and so that all students were able to understand and retain the information. Boe, Rick, and Andy were excellent instructors in the training yard and I felt fully supported and prepared for my skills test at the end of my course. Thank you to everyone at CDS!!

I recently attended CDS for my CDL training and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. The staff at CDS truly cares about their students' success and it shows in every aspect of the program.
The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. I want to give a special shoutout to Al, Patrick, and Guy who really went above and beyond to make sure I understood the material and felt confident behind the wheel. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided personalized guidance that was invaluable to my learning process.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at CDS and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to start a career in truck driving. Thank you, CDS, for helping me achieve my goals and for being so supportive along the way!

Excellent and patient trainers!
Will give you all the time you need to study up while still keeping you on a schedule to graduate with the appropriate hours for each category.
Excellent job placement, although I didn’t use it myself, there were many great opportunities given to me by both office staff and the trainers here.
I was a returning driver with previous experience who needed to test over again after letting my Class A expire, and went through the entire process of the Class A program.
Everyone there is like a good friend.
You would only be doing yourself a favor by going here.
Highly HIGHLY recommend this school.

I wanna thank y’all for helping me Be able to operate a semi in a safe and professional way!!! ALL AND ALL CDS IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN!✌🏽

My experience at CDS Auburn has been one of the funnest, most enjoyable times of my life. The instructors are very patient and relaxed and make you feel comfortable. The ladys in the office are very welcoming and always make sure to set out cookies for me 😁😎 I would recomend this campus above most because the instructors are some of the funnest people to be around. SIDE NOTE: Marlow is the funniest.

Class A CDL graduate
Excellent driver training taught by experienced, highly informative, patient, motivational, and personable staff members! Staff is diverse from different backgrounds and experiences. Equipment is older and worn but, provides more real world experience. CDS offers a pleasant learning environment. Taught me everything I needed know to obtain my state license and move on to a safe rewarding driving career including job placement services.

You want the best training and the best instructors? Don't look any further! I did the night class and highly recommend it! My instructors were AL, Ben, Craig, and class room instructor Bill. They are the best and greatest! CDS is the best when getting your CDL.

The instructors at CDS great. They are truly invested in your success. They are attentive to the smallest details of instruction and safety. They are also easy to work with, friendly and approachable....
The instructors at CDS great. They are truly invested in your success. They are attentive to the smallest details of instruction and safety. They are also easy to work with, friendly and approachable.
The office staff are all knowledgeable about truck driving as well and everyone takes part in making sure that you are prepared to pass the tests.
Once you get your license they are still there to help you get a job. They helped me to polish my resume and gave me leads on jobs advice on interviews. They also set a a practice drive for me going in to do a "check ride" for a prospective employer.
I also liked that many of the instructors are Veterans and I was honored to work with them. Each instructor brings there own perspective to the table and should be able to "click" at least 1 or 2 them. Daniel and Al were particularly helpful to me.
This school is first class! They get my highest possible praise.

My experience at CDS Auburn has been one of the funnest, most enjoyable times of my life. The instructors are very patient and relaxed and make you feel comfortable.
