We also had not a very good experience today. We had our first driving lesson 02/19 with Johnnie, and he is a great instructor. My daughter was happy with the lesson and said she really wanted to continue driving. But today, on 02/26, we had a lesson with Marc, and (with all due respect to your age) I do not recommend this instructor! I have never encountered such an attitude before. Many people say that the front desk staff is bad, but I wouldn’t say so. Overall, I had a good impression of this school until today—specifically, until today’s experience with this instructor. If you want a good instructor for your child, I highly recommend Johnnie and Patty! But NEVER Marc! I'm going to be 100% honest. Please do not attend this school unless you are over the age of 18/21. This review is based over the new location near the Fred Meyers. This place is a well established area that consists of okay-ish staff. However, there are many areas that are rough that may need sharpening and a better understanding of how the world runs now. Firstly, the front office people. There are times where the front office people will act nicely, and act unprofessional. I tried scheduling a drive and in return I was given a snobby attitude from a fully grown woman. Not a good remark towards me. Second, the instructors are good, but ONLY certain instructors. My last instructor was nice and didn't get angry at me and merely just told me to slow down and to correct my mistake. My current instructor is a pain, instead of being corrected in a nice tone, I was told that I had the knowledge of a "elemetry-level student". I know who you are if you are the one who spoke to me of this.They as well told me that I am stupid, dumb, and apparently blind. I feel as if I'm being racially profiled as another student wasn't told the same but was **SWERVING** the entire drive whilst I wasn't. Also to the guy who was testing, traditionally you would **never** say the student's grade outloud. Unless you were taught that from the times of 1950-1980, please obtain better know that times have change and that type of "professional" work, is not professional. A teacher would not, a medical doctor with information of a patient would not. Even if I was told something so important, I would not. You failed at that. Overall, 911 Driving Academy of Bonney Lake is not professional, and semi professional. To the administration who holding at this location, I **URGE** you to survey your current students and condemn those who negatively go against YOUR own students. Remember, we paid for our driving lessons and we are paying YOU to help us. It is never the other way around. To those who read these and believe that you are the ones that did this, you are carrying the future generation to a better future, it may seem that this may seem like nonsense, don't take this lightly. Become more professional, you wouldn't like it if the world knew you told a kid they were terrible whilst another instructor was more professional about it. **A message to parents** If this place is your last resort, teach your children more than their instructors. The instructors were very knowledgeable and courteous.   My daughter felt very comfortable and learned a lot from the materials and instruction.   I would highly recommend this school to anyone.   The staff were very professional and responsive to all of my questions and returned calls promptly! Tony, and Matt.....you have no clue what you're talking about.   911 Driving School of Puyallup is the best and gets constant great feed back from students.  Plus who waits in front of the office for 60 mins AFTER the class was suppose to start?  Maybe 30 but 60, really.All the instructors give respect and the best instruction available to these kids. This is the second driving school that our family went to in the last year. (I have two daughters 15 months apart). My first daughter went through Freedom Driving School and that was an absolute disaster. This daughter went through Driving school 911 and I can tell you the difference in professional integrity, customer service, genuine support, and positive regard was hands-down above the rest!!! The convenience of having everything available to your child including testing site drives and final test and drive far surpasses other driving school options! i had the absoulte best experience at this location, i had my road test done at this location and from start to finish they made my experience so easy and they are very organized and very professional, i had my road test with KJ and he is the absoulte best, very professional and very pactient and very easy to communicate with and me makes the whole experience a breeze. i definitly definitly recommend him, if i would give him alone 5 stars i would. hope who ever incharge of the reviews to make sure to give him my rating. I would avoid this location.  Our son took the training courses at the Puyallup office but when it was time for the Road test we were required to drive to the Graham office.  I was not impressed with the service the Graham office provided.  The examiner was very un-professional in the way she administered the test including yelling and physically grabbing our son while he was driving.  She also failed to provide any feedback following the exam.  Needless to say he was very upset and shaken afterwards.  The instructors at the Puyallup office always left him feeling confident after driving. I was very nervous taking my drive test and the person helping with the test knew I was. He was very nice about it. Very clear about the drive only took about 30 mins to complete. He was very professional but also laid back and cracked jokes to ease me from being so nervous. The front desk(young lady) was very professional and friendly. I walked in as a 27 year old with a learners permit, ready to take a test. The lady behind the desk was very fun and pleasant and helped me prepare and schedule for the test. When I took the 'behind the wheel test' I was very happy with the tester/examiner I got. He was very clear, perfectly easy to understand, and relatable. Wouldn't recommend. Instructors are unreliable. Cancelled class without informing students. We waited one hour outside the business only to have the guy behind the desk show up an hour after the class time to inform us that the instructor cancelled the class. No apology or explanation. They told my daughter that she failed her final exam and then a week later said she passed it. Certificate wasn't mailed until one month later and only after I called inquiring as to where it was. My twins are both 911 grads and loved it! There were many options for where to take the classes, instructor times and they even gave more attention to my daughter (needed some work). Both are now great drivers and have even given me tips on some of the small things I forgot after 25 years of driving. Can’t say enough good things about this place! The instructors were caring, sincere and fantastic! As for the first review, did you ever think about YOU driving your child to one of the many other sites? Did you write the TGIF restaurants and ask them to stay remain open until the end of the school when they could not afford to stay open? Just sayin! Read Less

What an exciting time in your time! I almost cried when I dropped my son off the first day. I am so proud of him. He LOVED this place and the instructors. I actually met the owners when I paid and they were the nicest people and took the time to answer all 100 mom questions that I had, even though they were closing for the day. Sounds like the first reviewer was too lazy to drive their kids a few miles down the road to one of the many other 911 school locations. I recommend this driving school to anyone and everyone. The instructors are so dedicated to their students. They really make sure they go the extra mile to help the kids learn all of the necessities to be a safe driver. My son comes home every night excited to tell me what they learned in class that day. The instructors are awesome! They tackle all of the real issues that arise, and know exactly how to deal with them because they're actual police officers. 911 are a bunch of QUITERS!!! Decided to stop teaching drivers ed. at my daughters school after more than half way through the year. They say its too expensive to teach there... My problem is WHY did you agree to do it if its too expensive? You knew going in what it would cost. I have actually tried 4 driving schools, including this one. I know, sad but true. I was an extremley nervous driver and was afraid I would never get my liscense. I was instructed by Jack Scott, and unlike my previous instructors, he never once raised his voice to me or showed any frustration whatsoever. He was so calm and so incredibley patient and that made me feel calm and secure. I am not easy to teach, because of a mixture of learning disablities and because I was so scared of driving. I am so happy and thankful to say I FINALLY got my drivers liscense at the age of 29! And I passed with a 98! I am so thankful for the patience and encouragement of this school and this instructor. He also encouraged me to spend more time behind the wheel with my husband instead of wasting tons of money on private lessons. Honestly I have yet to meet anyone who is at patient and calm as Jack Scott was. I am so thankful and I am thanking God that I can FINALLY drive myself and my children around. The office staff are friendly and there to help you every step of the way..from getting your permit to after getting your license! I loved all of the instructors. They are are police officers and their personal, on-the-job stories impacted my learning much more than anything else in the course. The instructors are funny and engaging! They really make Driver's Ed fun. I felt the instructors really did care about me and my learning to drive. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs drivers ed! Read Less
