I had an amazing experience with Defensive Driving School, especially with my instructor Jacob Wiltse. As a 28-year-old mom who had never driven before and had zero experience, learning to drive was very intimidating for me. I also struggle with anxiety, so finding the right instructor was really important. I chose the individual driving package, and it was the best decision. Jacob was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient—truly the patience of a saint. I tend to overthink and get lost in my thoughts, but Jacob always helped keep me calm and focused. His great personality and supportive teaching style made every lesson comfortable and encouraging. Today, March 13, I passed my driving test with Jacob, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without him. Because of his guidance, I am now a confident driver. I also want to thank Gracia, the coordinator who helped schedule my lessons. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was planned well so I could get the best out of every lesson. And thank you to Jessica, who stepped in to teach one of my drives when Jacob was sick. She is an amazing woman with such a warm and chill vibe, and she made me feel comfortable right away. The amount I paid for the lessons honestly didn’t matter compared to the experience and support I received. It was completely worth it for the confidence and skills I gained. I love the teachers and instructors here they are very kind and they help me out with understanding the laws of driving and how to stay alert. The in person instructor Jacob was very kind and gave some good advice to me. He is a very good mentor. My online school teacher is also great his name is Jason but his daughter is the star of the session she tells very creative jokes and they always make me giggle. For the AAA Saturday class, Dennis was teaching us and we all got hungry so he bought us pizza and made the class fun, he's a really good teacher and got straight to the point, making sure to involve us in all the questions, getting our opinions on each one. Read Less

Best driving school EVER! Vickie is the best teacher !! Helped me get over my fear of driving on the road. She made me feel more confident behind the wheel and in the classroom. I learned so much over the course of the class. Vickie made the class fun to be in and made learning easy and fun for all of us. She catered to all of our learning ways and capabilities. My daughter really enjoyed her classes at DDS. Her instructor was great with the kids. They offered a good variety of class times so we were able to find one that fit into our busy schedule. Good location, but the parking is very small and difficult to navigate, especially during pick up/drop off. Read Less

Convenient location, except wish there was more parking for drop off/pick up. Teacher was knowledgeable but a bit too casual with the students in my opinion. Classes and drives started on time but classes often ended early. Really liked scheduling and making changes to the drives online. My daughter seems to know all the rules and regulations to get her on the road. Good value. Read Less

The good: variety of class choices including an evening class which works out for parents that work later. Convenient location. Price beats the other drivers ed class in Bonney Lake area. I liked how I could review the schedule and the office was very good about updating that. I also appreciated whenever I would email, the corporate office would get a respond within a day. The bad: One of the instructors needs to be evaluated. I am not naming names, as I have already talked to the corporate office about her. I was not that impressed with the majority of the staff. The only staff member that I thought was great was Dennis. Very nice, helpful and patient with my daughter when it came to the drives. He focused on what was supposed to be which was teaching driving, unlike the other individual that did the drives with students. I think the owner needs to pay attention to how his classes are being taught and how they are being taught. Felt some of the staff needs to be evaluated and the owner needs to pay attention to what is going on at that location!!! People are paying almost $600 for this class. Read Less
