This course is amazing! We were able to see so many extra landmarks while we were on the greens! For example, they take such good care of the green below that we were able to see the Grand Canyon and the Sahara Desert, all in one stop! Not to mention the rocky fairway! This gave us the opportunity to look for small patches of grass just so we wouldn't damage our clubs. I can really appreciate how much the owners dgaf bout maintaining any part of this course as clearly foolish people like our group were willing to actually pay money to play there. The good news is, now I know better! I truly want to warn any player that would like to play on a decent course, to not play here. I am seriously surprised this place is still open. The only reason I gave it one star is because I can't give it less. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COURSE - the sooner it shuts down the sooner they can sell the land to somebody that will use it for a good purpose...other than ripping off golfers. Read Less

Not long ago, I went to 18 holes with my husband after paying 100 dollars. But the condition of the grass was really bad and I was so upset that they managed it and let me play golf for money. There were wheel marks and uncared for on the green, and the grass was all cracked up as if the ground were splitting during a drought. I had no idea where to put the ball and the bare ground was revealed. I think they should close the door and stop doing business if they are going to manage like this. This is the worst golf course I've ever been to. I won't go again and I'll never recommend it to anyone else. It was so clear why this golf course had a bad review. If you like golf, don't go. It is a complete waste of money. Read Less

This golf course is TERRIBLE! I brought my family here on Friday and was so embarrassed! It was not the course I remembered playing in the past. The "greens" were brown, there was garbage along the paths, mole holes in the fairway, and the tee boxes were so dry our tees would break when we tried putting them in the ground. We were also told that they were sold out of carts but saw 8 sitting outside. The clerk in the clubhouse told us that it didn't matter if we played the front or back 9 because "they were so slow". The restaurant isn't open either. We were told it was shut down at the beginning of covid and hasn't reopened. SO DISAPPOINTED! WILL NEVER GO BACK!! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but the review made me rate it 😡 Read Less

I've been to cedars many times over the years. Used too be a good course, even if little difficult. Just recently had a terrible experience.  On hole 12, the Marshall in a Jeff Gordon golf I cart came up out of nowhere and told us to pick up the pace and was a complete jerk about it. I understand if we were slow golfers would be different, but we are not we play fast.   Even if looking for a loss ball we drop and move on. It was just at the 2 hour mark and ended up finishing the round just under 3 and half hours for 18 holes walking! How is that slow? After telling the guy at the pro shop what happened he didn't even seem to care. Place has turned into a complete joke.  Maybe the course Marshall needs to figure out the pace of play the right way. Ruined the rest of the holes because we were both pissed, and couldn't focus back on golf. WTG cedars you lost 2 golfers from last 10 years. Read Less

This is a great course in Brush Prairie, WA. This will test every club in your bag, particularly on sunny days when the greens dry out. I had the pleasure of playing at twilight each of the last two weeks. Once it was raining, once it was a partly-sunny day. The facilities are well kept, seems like a full service restaurant and bar, although I didn't use it. The golf staff is very friendly. The one complaint I have is about kids and slow play. There needs to be a marshal out on the golf course to enforce the rules of golf. Last Friday I played 18 and saw some really disturbing things. Young kids being allowed to run around and scream on the putting greens. More young kids on the ninth hole, more interested in laughing and chasing geese down the fairway than learning the game of golf. If you want to do that, take your kids to the driving range or a city park. Yes, kids will be kids, but take them to an executive course...if not a driving range, and teach them the rules of golf. For those of us that take the game seriously, it's truly frustrating. All in all, great course...and I will be back. Read Less

Great golf course that will test all skill levels of most golfers. This outstanding golf course is  located just south of Battle Ground, WA and east of Brush Prairie, WA. It's only 25 minutes from Portland, OR. The new refreshing staff and it's owner can't be beat! The course winds around Salmon Creek with most holes bordering Salmon Creek. That means water. Only two holes of the gorgeous 18 holes are without water hazards. Accuracy off the tee is put to the test on every hole as well as placement of approach shots when going for the green. The course is a great walking course though the course has cart rentals. If you like a fun challenge and want a great golfing experience give The Cedars on Salmon Creek a try. You won't be disappointed. One word of advice, bring plenty of golf balls. Somehow the creek and ponds always seem to find my golf balls. You can also make tee times online. Have fun!! Read Less
