I had an amazing experience with Confident, I took the summer online classes and it was great, I actually broke my right ankle (My driving ankle) the first day of classes and when I brought it up to Sherri and David they were very helpful and gracious and allowed me to continue with the online classes and when I was given the all clear from my doctor they paced me with the class they were teaching at the moment. Throughout the drive tests I had Sherri all five times and she was very helpful and aware that I’m not going to know most things on hand because I was taught earlier in the year and was not practicing it as we were taught about it in class and she was very gracious and kind about my situation. I recently passed the state tests for both written and driving and the only way was able to pass both of the tests was because of how I was taught and shown the material we needed to know thanks to Sherri. I'm pretty anxious behind the wheel, tried to get my license years ago in another state and had a bad experience - I was way too nervous and just couldn't do it. Then I tried it again, and I'm glad I went with this driving school. I only had David for a few of the zoom classes, but it's pretty clear to me that both instructors, Sherri and David, are passionate about driving and safety and take it seriously. I found the information in the classes to be thorough and the feedback given on my drives to be extremely helpful. If you're like me, you will get feedback that will make you feel discouraged... None of the feedback I got felt "harsh", I should mention, but honest. I was told to keep praticing, so I did every chance I could. And by the end of it, despite my nerves, I passed! I'll admit, I do still think I've got a lot of room for improvement in the "being less nervous" department, but I think there's a world of difference in my driving and my attitude toward it vs. when I started. I went here 10 years ago and had such a great experience with both price and people, that I came back and I am acctually now employed here. The instructors here are fun loving and pretty easy going, but they also care about the safety of each teen who goes through their program (they wont pass unless they have done their practicing and are truly prepared to have their licence). Its a family run local business and they have the best prices! The price includes the testing (knowlage and drive) which costs additional at other schools, all around I truly feel this is the place to go! And a bonus for the Camas location is that its run by Sherri who is very accommodating and can do some of the picking up and dropping off of students for their drive appointments!
