I passed both my written and driving test on the first try, and it’s all thanks to SONIC DRIVING SCHOOL. The whole experience was smooth and professional. The staff were very friendly, professional, and super accomodating throughout the whole process. My driving instructor was incredibly patient and helpful during the test - he calmly guided me through everything, which really helped with my nerves. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect in all my life. The man had me sit down to take the knowledge test and the woman came out and told him in their language to tell me they’re closed. Mind you it was 1 pm. So I came in the next day and the woman had me switch seats because she thought I would cheat. She made me switch seats twice! And warned me that there was cameras everywhere (my phone was with her so there was no way that I would cheat, not that I would anyway) after I took the test one of the men that works there (the one who sat me down the first time) is who graded my knowledge test. The woman had walked out to the front part of their office as I was walking out after I had been informed that I passed the test. The woman looked me up and down and said you finished your test fast and I said yes I did and then she said did you pass and I said yes, and she had the nastiest look on her face and then told me not to forget my ID again as I had forgot it on the table the day previously because I was told to take it out for my test and then told to get up so suddenly, it had slipped my mind that I had set it on the folder they gave me. A couple days later, I called and tried to make an appointment for my drivers test, and the woman was being so sweet and accommodating, and then she asked if I had came in before and I told her who I was and her tone changed immediately and she told me that they had no availabilities Because their staff went on vacation. She’s an older African woman my mom‘s age. I was never expecting her to treat me like this seeing as I was so respectful to her and being African myself not even a little bit more respect for her as my elder I don’t know if there’s some kind of jealousy or Maybe she doesn’t like Ethiopians. I’m not quite sure what the deal is there I was born in America, so I don’t really know the politics over there, but please don’t waste your time coming to this business. They are extremely unprofessional extremely rude. They’re not clear on what their hours are and you’re not able to make appointments. There’s way better places near there to do your knowledge and skills test. I never write reviews like this because I know how detrimental it can be to someone’s business, but I’ve never been treated like this and I don’t want anybody else to go through what I went through at that place. I don’t recommend Express Driving School which is currently at this location. The knowledge test is paper-based, so you don’t get to see your exact score. The results are checked manually, which can raise concerns about accuracy and consistency. It would be much better if they used a computer-based testing system, which ensures more precise scoring. I personally failed multiple times, had to retake the test, and paid the fee each time. Read Less
