I highly recommend this school to all new students. I’ve had a driver’s license from another country for over 10 years, and I needed to take the driving exam to drive in the U.S. I took one driving lesson with Carmen and a warm-up session with instructor Delon. Both were professional, calm, and supportive. I passed my driving test easily with a perfect score—100% and no mistakes. Great driving school. A little expensive but a great time overall. The instructors are nice and know what their doing. Rafael and Brendon are amazing instructors and give great feedback on drives and in class. The only thing I have to say is that drives are kind of hard to get scheduled because they fill up fast. I am 43 years old I never drive in my life because I worked for almost 18 years in a cruise ship in Europe. Was a great experience to me I took 10 lessons and now I got my first Driver License. The cars that you will practice are new, super clean, the instructors are amazing. I want to tell Rick Hinz thanks a lot !!! for your patient with me, you gave me confidence that I can do it and I did. If you have any family that needs to learn how to drive look for him. I recently took the driving classes and the instructors are so nice and are so easy to talk to. Also, during the classes the instructors, former police officers, have stories to tell with every lesson. This helps the student because then they can learn from other people's mistakes. Lastly, during the drives the instructors have casual conversations with you and it keeps the drives stress free. Thank You 911 driving school! Read Less

Rafael was a great instructor and provided a great classroom experience.  My daughter enjoyed the class and seems to have a good understanding (at least as much as a teenager can have) of what it takes to be a good, safe driver.  It is great to see her so excited, yet cautious about driving. It takes a calm and patient person to teach teen driving.  All three instructors (Rafael and the others who instructed the in-person drives) did a great job of providing direct, constructive feedback and reinforcing the positives - making this a great learning experience for her. Aside from a few technical issues with signing up for drives, this experience has been much, much better than my older daughter's at another driving school. I was a bit skeptical about the higher price, but friends' recommendations and the company reputation convinced to sign up with 911 - I'm happy we did! Read Less

My son took a driving test two times here, and failed both.  That was his error, but the comments the instructors made while he was taking the test did not help, and at one point he was downgraded for speeding (30mph) in an area the instructor said was 25, and told if he had taken the class, he would have known that.  In fact, we live in this area, and the speed limit is 30. Generalized comments were made about his car, age, etc.  Three days after his second attempt, we went to another driving school in Kent and he passed with an 88.  I would not recommend 911 Driving school of Kent. From a former student's perspective:911 is a great school to go to/send your kids to obtain a drivers lisence. It is taught by police officers--some of who are really cool (especially Bill!), others not so much. Even if you get stuck with a grumpy teacher, you're still bound to learn all the skills you need to know. Read Less
