Welcome to A & J Driving School, your first choice in Cowlitz County for a fun and exciting experience learning to become a safe and skilled driver. We are now a DOL approved testing facility. You can now take your written and drive test needed to obtain a Washington State Drivers License at our school. Before, this would have needed to be done at a Department of Licensing location. Please call or email us for more information on this program and to schedule a time for testing.

I absolutely loved taking Drivers ED here! My husband and I both went through A&J and loved it! All of the instructors are hard working, and teach lessons in depth, to where they are very easy to understand by the end, even on harder topics. When you are on drives with them they are nice and talk to you like friends, which takes away from the stress of being graded or anything like that. They are very patient and give you grace, and work with you if you have to make up a class, quiz, or anything else. I never felt stressed or pressured at all during my drives or quizzes. The tuition isn’t bad at all, and it covers both the knowledge and skills test, along with the use of their vehicles for your practice drives. Overall I would rate A&J over 5 stars if I could and would recommend anybody to send their teenage here!

Good teachers. Worked well with my son who has Asperger‘s. My son speaks loudly and is very direct and bluntly honest, he also doesn’t tolerate disrespect toward him in anyway. So I thank you guys for handling him in your classes and on your drives! Again thank you for being Understanding and having well communication . The payment plans are so helpful.

These people traumatized my kid with their political ranting, defeatism comments, unprofessional oversharing, and just bad business acumen; now despite passing does not care to drive out of anxiety! I gave no stars as they should not only take business classes but psychological counseling and not be dumping on our entangled children! I would give no stars if I could!

Please keep doing what you’re doing; because you’re helping people with so much more than obtaining their licenses; you’re giving people confidence and giving great lifelong skills and lessons that will keep us all safe on the road!! Very highly recommend A and J driving school!!!

Both of my kids have enjoyed learning to drive here. And with a boy who is 6'6" it's hard to find a car he could fit in. He was able to learn in theirs.

They do not return phone calls or emails. I left 3 messages as no one answers the phone. I even left them my Cell and Work phone number and I emailed them through their site as well. I did not receive...
They do not return phone calls or emails. I left 3 messages as no one answers the phone. I even left them my Cell and Work phone number and I emailed them through their site as well. I did not receive one response back. Would not recommend doing business with anyone who will not return phone calls. Only gave 1 star as it will not let me give less.

It was very professional. And to take the written they take you into a back room with desks away from the waiting area. I am very satisfied with my experience there.

I absolutely loved taking Drivers ED here! My husband and I both went through A&J and loved it! All of the instructors are hard working, and teach lessons in depth, to where they are very easy to understand by the end, even on harder topics.
