Just went and did my knowledge test and passed. I was super skeptical about it and doubted my self to the fullest but I went in and did it. The main guy working there just takes your 25 dollars and sits you down and off you go. I really have to give a shout out to the DMV 2026 practice test I downloaded off play store. That really got me set up for success. It's a 3 day free trial and I think I did the exam part 20 times and they also have a sign test so I highly recommend both b&b and the DMV practice test! My driving instructor Steve was patient and explained things clearly. He even took a few extra minutes after my time slot to explain the things I needed to practice more. The examiner however, Brian, seemed nice at first but after the road test changed his tone to very condescending and dismissive. He failed me on minor things that he could have easily passed me on. Based on my first impressions, I thought my experience at B and B wasn’t gonna be the best. I took my drivers ed course during the summer of 2017, while my classroom instructor talked in a monotone voice, I was still able to learn. Mr. Turner was my main driving instructor during my drives, he was helpful and friendly. While I was stressed out on my drive test, I passed the first time. All except one of the staff members were friendly and I would recommend B and B for drivers ed. My recommendation is to practice driving a lot before the class and before your drivers test. My son took the drivers ed classes on the South Hill as well as the driving test. We had a great experience with them! Everything from the sign up through the classes was easy and seamless. I feel my son learned a lot and it made him a better driver and much more aware when he is behind the wheel. Heads up though, don't be late because they start very promptly and expect the same for their students (my son learned this right away). Highly recommend this school and will use again when my daughter turns 16. Read Less

This is the worst place ever. I spent lots of money over nothing. I don’t recommend anyone this place unless you want to fail and lose your money. The people who work there ought to be reasonable. They would take some points off to fail you over such things that completely don’t make any sense. Zero! Read Less

When I took the drive test for the first time at B & B, the instructor was VERY picky and put down six mistakes for me, which resulted in a failing score of 76%, although I only did three (I have everything recorded on my dash cam). The other three were minor things that she could have excused to let me pass. For example, I am tall and have long hands, so I had nowhere to place my elbow but on the arm rest. She took off two points for that (both of my hands were on the steering wheel at ALL TIMES). I also did a couple more similar mistakes, however, I breezed through the two hardest parts: parallel and corner parking. When I took the second test, I accidentally drove out onto the opposite lane of a two-way street, thinking that it was a one-way. This, obviously was my mistake which ended the test, but I was extremely nervous after paying $55 for the first test and failing it when I could have passed. The second test, which I also failed, cost $35 to retake. In total, I payed $90 for two scoring sheets with failing scores. I HIGHLY WOULDN'T recommend this school because the instructor is picky and the prices are just WAY TOO HIGH!!! Read Less

The instructor's attitude was gross, and the questions half the time had nothing to do with driving! I lost a lot of money to this place and will never refer anyone to b&b. I believe the second test she graded with the wrong sheet of answers too, she was very unprofessional Read Less

When I went to take my drive test, I had asked for a pillow to sit on due to my short height. The instructor just looked in the b&b car for a pillow, and said it didn't have one. So I had obvious problems seeing over the car, but the instructor didn't seem to mind that. It was also really bright outside so I couldn't see the street signs or road markings very well. Again, the instructor didn't seem to care. I spent a hefty amount of money on this school and their tests and I must say I am HIGHLY disappointed. I will make sure that anyone I know of who will be learning to drive does NOT go to b&b. The instructors I met all seemed like they just absolutely did not care. Read Less
