I Enrolled at the Target Driving school and passed my knowledge Test with a very high score on my First attempt, after a few days i registered for one hour BTW and the Skills Test for my Drivers licence. I did a one hour BTW Drive with Dave , a great instructor and good human being , very professional, an Hour later I Did the Skills Test with Mike as my Invigilator, very Experienced Test Master. The Test was very Strict and was tested for Driving in Trafic following Rules of Stoping, lane changing, Parrel parking, stoping on a hill, Backing/Reversing into a 90* Turn and finally back to the Office. Mike at all the time gave instruction ahead of time and never misguided me to break any laws or Rules. I made a few mistakes which he dicussed with me and gave me my final score. What a relief and jubilation, again I passed quite highly. On Monday I went to the DMV office in Vancouver East, got an appointment at 9 am and Got my Personal Drivers licence ( Temporary) by 9.30am and the Kind officer told me my Real licence will be Mailed to my Adress, I would like to thank Julia, Brian, Dave and Mike, Thank you guys Be Blessed. I would definitely give this driving school five stars! I first came in to take my written test, and the process was quick and easy. A week later, I scheduled a one-hour driving lesson with David, and he was incredibly kind and patient. He helped calm my nerves and made me feel much more comfortable behind the wheel. A couple of weeks later, I decided to take my driving test because I felt confident after practicing the notes and feedback he gave me during our lesson. I took time to work on the areas I needed improvement in, then came back and tested with the same instructor. The experience was amazing, and I’m so happy I passed! I'm still trying to figure out what I paid $420 for. Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else. I'm not going into the details of all the things the staff did that were 1) rude, 2) unprofessional, 3) poor pedagogy. I'm a teacher and I fail to see how this business could be categorized as a school. Especially don't go here if you or your child don't fit the "normal Vancouver white Christian person" mold. The staff here is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I went in to sign up for driving classes and the two older white women that worked at the front desk (one of which had a tiny dog that was chewing on garbage on the floor) repeatedly disrespected the fact that I am a transgender man. When I politely corrected them four times they ignored all of my attempts. After i finally became irritated at the fact they would repeatedly try to alienate me like that I told them they needed to stop addressing me the way they have been. One defended her repeated disrespect by saying she couldn't make any promises to correct her behavior and that she was "just trying to work hard to do her job" apparently NOT considering the fact that she apparently couldn't read my gender marker on my permit (that was in her hand) that reads MALE. The other became hostile. She even told me to take my prescription sunglasses off "so they could see my face" I'm assuming this was another one of her attempts to slip in a comment to disrespect my gender. She then proceeded to yell at me to remove my card from the card reader and leave. Read Less

Before I had taken my written exam with Driving 101 and failed. I studied my ass off came to Ontarget and Passed. I noticed a big difference in their service unlike Driving 101. 💯 recommend Planning to take Driving test with them! Read Less

I HIGHLY recommend completing your driving course and testing at this school. They were friendly and ready to answer any questions that I had. Keith was my instructor for the two-hour methods course and the three one-hour driving sessions that is available for drivers over 18. He worked around my busy schedule and helped me to get my instruction done in a timely manner. Keith is very knowledgeable in this area and makes sure you have the tools to be a confident and safe driver. A very calming and encouraging man to be driving with. The best place to learn driving. These guys teach you things you need to know and is important. The examiners are really good and makes you feel comfortable even before the exam. Love that Keith guy, very professional and goes out of his way to make sure you learn the right way, and be a cautious and safe driver...PLEASE DON'T GO TO 101 DRIVING SCHOOL, THEY WILL FAIL YOU ON PURPOSE TO MAKE MONEY. This is the best game in town! The owners are very friendly & personable, they made me feel at ease. Although I did not need a second chance with the knowledge test, they offer it at no additional cost. It was $25 for the test, unlike another place which was $39 with NO SECOND CHANCE! (That place gave a $5 discount for the second chance but I did not take the bait), hence going to On Target. I highly recommend this school. Read Less

I am so extremely grateful that I went to On Target Driving School. I am in my thirties and had a major driving phobia. Keith was extremely patient and encouraging and I was able to get my license in just over a month. It has completely changed my life! A very positive experience. I was so lucky to come through On Target driving school to take my driving lessons and driving test. I have always felt scared thinking about driving but Kieth at On Target driving school was a great help to overcome my fear and start hitting the road. I am not an English native speaker and I find it so hard to understand when people talk so fast. I had no problem at all understanding Kieth since he talks slowly and clearly, he gives the info and repeats it in different ways & at different occasions until you digest it very well. Kieth & Don the instructors at the school are really well informed and are so passionate about what they do.. You will feel the positive energy once you step inside the place.
