Bogdan, one of the instructors was very helpful and always took time with his student to make sure they understand a maneuver and made it easier for them to learn so that they could be a safe and responsible driver without feeling stressed out whenever they are on the road. Great driving school for our teens. Staff and instructors were wonderful. Walter was their instructor for classroom as well as drives. He taught them the essential skills of driving to be safe and aware drivers. The Swerve-isms were helpful to remember what to do when driving. I learned from Walter at this place. He is a very experienced professional. He not only taught me how to drive but also focused on building my confidence from day1. He explained the rules very nicely and started focusing on my driving skills immediately. He is very organized and will make sure that you can also drive on Freeways! (Of course if you are comfortable). I took $350 package 5 lessons and final test and I could feel confidence in me from day1-2. The classes are fine. all is fine. Except for the bullshit pricing. "The Student" package does not include the actual test to get a license. That is 50-70 dollars more on top of the 570 dollar price. Like buying a car only to discover the wheels cost extra "Oh, did you want to actually use the car?" None of the DOL offices do testing. My 18 who has been driving for two years because she had her license from another state was had to renew her license with this state and they failed her for not stopping for five sec. She stopped for 8 the first time then second time the deducted points was for four seconds. Not happy with the facility. I'm starting to think there is a ploy .. They fail some and pass some when they fail them we were encourage to put her through classes which is bother 300/400$ on top of drive fees .. Noooo thank you ! Although they were a little frustrating to deal with when it came to coordinating drives and practice hours, it was a good experience for me. I LOVED Micheal; he was like the embodiment of "chill" while also being a really good teacher. Martha Andro was our kids instructor for their 6th drive   She was great and accommodated our kids and us   She was kind and encouraging.  She helped them be prepped for their final driving test.  Hoping she soon gets to administer the actual test to kids and help them be successful. In terms of convenience and customer service related to scheduling, I have to give Swerve a low score. While the instructors, both in the classroom and on the road were helpful and knowledgable, trying to actually schedule the drives that we paid quite a bit of money for was VERY FRUSTRATING. The Swerve website is antiquated for what the company charges customers. The site takes a very long time to load and the selection of possible drives is paltry to say the least. I've spoken with many, many families over the last six months whose children have been enrolled and have heard similar feedback. Read Less

Edited: I found the BBB rating for this place, and they had an "F", which made me even more angry. I had called and emailed and called and emailed and heard nothing back.I was actually ready to escalate it further but finally received a call back today by a woman name Carrie, who is the scheduler for the company. What a relief, she was super patient with me even though I was quite snippy with her to get started. Once we got all calm, she actually got me totally scheduled for all of our drives and made sure I was satisfied before we ended the call.I changed my rating from one star to three stars - and left it at that because it should not be that hard to get help for such an expensive service. Plus, their website totally sucks.Original:I really wish I had found this page before I signed my daughter up for Swerve.I called today and asked for my money back, but they'll only offer a partial refund because my daughter attended two courses. I told the woman that they guaranteed in-car training as part of the course, so if they can't provide that, it's fraud and I'll escalate this as far as needed to get my full refund.My experience is echoing every other person's on here. There are no drives to be scheduled unless I want to drive to Woodinville (25 miles away).  There was one drive available, and by the time I decided to just bite the bullet and go for it, their website was so slow that I couldn't even book it. For the amount of money I paid for this, I could have hired a private instructor and been guaranteed drives.The only drives available are scheduled during school hours (seriously? every kid in my daughters class goes to her high school. I'm not pulling my daughter out of school to drive).I emailed before classes started because I was worried about the availability of drives. They assured me that they were adding more and not to worry - to go ahead and start my daughter and there would be plenty of drives.  Of course they're going to say that. If they'd said, "Yeah, we have no intention of adding more drives, so suck it up" everyone would withdraw.That's obviously not the case. This is the most expensive driving school in the area. For $600 a pop, and 10 kids in class, you'd think that $6000 would be enough to get an extra couple of instructors in for drives during a reasonable hour. So mad at this company. You cannot schedule drives ever! I check the website constantly and call and leave messages. We could not get even one drive until after the class ended. Currently it will be two months after the end and we will only have secured 4 drives. They know how many kids are in their classes and how many drives they need. Why don't they hire more instructors. The class instruction is good. Marsha in Woodinville taught a good class. We have had nice driving instructors. We just can't get them. We scheduled this over the summer and gave up August so we could get this completed. It will be dragging three months or more into fall and conflicting with parents' work schedules, sports and homework. Terribly run business. They also own 911 driving school.
