They are a decent driving school but they are absolutely terrible with paperwork. First, they told us they would send us my kids temps papers in the mail. I checked the mail multiple times a day for days. They did not do so. They sent it in an email that went to my spam folder. Email is not the same as mail. No one ever answered the phone when I tried calling to figure this out. Then my kiddo completed all the behind the wheels and we got an email 9/10/25 saying they were sending the completion paperwork to the DMV. My kiddo goes to the DMV 10/08, takes the drivers test, and passes only to find out Rock Valley didn't send in the paperwork. So we sat at the DMV for an hour, repeatedly calling Rock Valley to get it cleared up, and of course they didn't answer, even though it was their business hours. We had to leave without their license because there wasn't anything else we could do. We couldn't sit here all day waiting for them to actually return my call. It said it's an administrative hold but no one ever said anything about said hold. I didn't owe any money and all behind the wheels were finished.

This school is a waste of time. We enrolled our kid 6-12-23, and it took forever for them to do the paperwork for our kid to get their temps. I eventually called the DMV and they did something because it was fixed the next day
We had been trying for weeks! yesterday, my kid completed the final drive time and today did the driving test. Passed, but due to their negligence again, kid still can't get a license
1.5 years of crap from this school. we called during business hours and got no response. Don't waste your money on this place.

Signed up here because it was close to the house. Son did the online portion no problem but scheduling drive times is a mess. It is just ridiculous.

Signed up here because it was close to the house. Son did the online portion no problem but scheduling drive times is a mess. It is just ridiculous.
My daughter (20 now) did driving school somewhere else (different state) and we had no issues with class times or scheduling drive times or getting ahold of someone if we had questions. They had all the drive times scheduled before she finished her in class portion of the program and it was a First In, First Out type of program.
I'm not sure if the owner has their hands full and can't keep up with everything or what but this has been an overall horrible experience.
We have still not been able to finish this and we started in June of 2023. Can't finish drive times because availability is lacking and the system to schedule is set up so poorly. Asked to be put on a call list for canceled spots and got 1 text. They can fill in the spot if they call and give the okay but you can't schedule a spot when it becomes available if someone drops in the online portal.
Getting in touch is a nightmare. Multiple calls and emails sent before you get a return call.
It's a lot of money to spend for such poor service.
2 more kiddos to go through driving school and I guarantee will we NOT be using this service provider again.
I would strongly advise AGAINST signing up with this school and make the drive to somewhere else.
Do your research. Talk to the DMV and other driving schools. Don't be a lazy dumb dumb like me.
If you still decide to sign up after reading all the bad reviews...well, just hand them your money and then promptly bend over and grab your ankles and brace yourself.

As a parent of three children who have all gone through Rock Valley over the past 10 years, I can confidently say that my experience has always been consistently excellent!! My youngest son recently completed his behind-the-wheel lessons, and from the very first session with Mrs. Powers, it was evident that he was in capable hands.
My son particularly enjoyed his lessons with her, prompting us to ensure that all his appointments were scheduled with her specifically. The fact that my son looked forward to his lessons speaks volumes about the quality of instruction provided at Rock Valley.
Throughout our journey with Rock Valley, communication has been great. Whether through email or voicemail, my questions were always met with prompt and friendly responses, typically within one business day. This level of attentiveness and responsiveness further solidified our trust in the school.
I recommend Rock Valley to any parent with a teen ready to embark on driving courses. Mrs. Powers, in particular, deserves special recognition for her exceptional work with my son. Thank you, Mrs. Powers, for your dedication —you are truly appreciated for the positive impact you made. 🌟I am sure Jason will miss you!

They are a decent driving school but they are absolutely terrible with paperwork. First, they told us they would send us my kids temps papers in the mail. I checked the mail multiple times a day for days. They did not do so. They sent it in an email that went to my spam folder. Email is not the same as mail. No one ever answered the phone when I tried calling to figure this out. My daughter (20 now) did driving school somewhere else (different state) and we had no issues with class times or scheduling drive times or getting ahold of someone if we had questions. They had all the drive times scheduled before she finished her in class portion of the program and it was a First In, First Out type of program.
