At DDS, we treat each and every person that comes to DDS as if they were a member of our family. The training and evaluation that they will receive will be second to none. As you have probably already heard, the death rate for 16 year old drivers has almost doubled over the past 20 years. Once a driver turns 17, the risk drops way off. Why is this? It's due to many reasons, but primarily to inexperience. Well then, how does one get the experience that is needed without driving? The answer is in the type of training they receive. If you only train on quiet residential streets and never face real traffic and difficult situations, then you will not be ready for it and more than not luck is the determining factor whether you are in an accident or not.

If you need a driving school, I recommend Defensive Driving Specialists. I had 2 kids go through this driving school and I have been happy with their driving. He gets behind the wheel done efficiently...
If you need a driving school, I recommend Defensive Driving Specialists. I had 2 kids go through this driving school and I have been happy with their driving. He gets behind the wheel done efficiently and works with your schedule. He doesn't schedule the BTW months apart like many other schools. This allows your kids to learn how to drive and be able to practice their skills correctly. Al Muslik is just what you want when teaching your 15-year-old how to drive. He has high expectations and teaches what kids what they need to know to be safe on the road. He is honest about his success in passing on the first time. My kid passed on his first time with only 2 pts off. Very happy with this school both times we used him. Highly recommend.

Excellent classroom instruction, behind the wheel course, and above all, an owner who goes that extra mile for his students. We are so happy we decided to put our son, Austin, in this course and would recommend him to anyone. Mr. Musilek is dedicated and takes great care to put safe drivers out on the road - not only for them, but for everyone.

I have sent all three of my boys through this program as I felt it was the strongest program available and not only teaches students how to drive but to do it defensively and has the best chance of keeping them safe on the road. I strongly feel that my oldest son used the knowledge that he learned in class to avoid what would have been a much more horrible accident had he not taken that class. I'm confident that students are not learning nearly as much in other programs. The instructor, Al Musilek, takes his job so seriously that he got a Master's of Education in Traffic Safety. He takes the safety of each student to heart and wants to make sure they are fully equipped to navigate the roads as safely as possible. This is an incredibly high quality program and I advise you to only send your children HERE! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent teacher. I have had two children go thru the classroom style and one online. He is strict with his teaching making sure the students get the seriousness of this privilege of driving and understand that it’s not just their driving but everyone else on the road and unexpected decisions which he prepares the students to encounter. Defensive driving is the best way of learning to drive. He cares about his students and is very willing to work with you on becoming the best driver you can be. He’s strict but patient and I highly recommend his classes.

Two of my children have taken Mr. Musilek’s course. My son did the online version, because it fit into his schedule. My daughter took the traditional classroom course, which I think is best if you don’t have a scheduling conflict. I highly recommend this course for your teen. Mr. Musilek truly cares about the kids and wants them to be safe drivers. He was always very responsive via text, email, or phone if there was any issue we needed to discuss.

First, I would like to start out letting you know know that I was a personal injury paralegal for over 10 years and have worked my share of automobile cases that would leave you in tears. So many of our youth have been lost to carelessness and recklessness that it makes me sad. Not only does the personal loss hurt, but in the wake of these horrific accidents of loss, comes the financial burden of liability. So, my husband and I decided that our kids would learn how to drive not only smart but defensively and prayerfully avoid that senario. As a result, my son, who is now a college sophomore, learned to drive through classes with DDS and Alan Musilek, the owner and instructor. I am happy to say he is an excellent driver with a great driving record. Unfortunately, he has been in two accidents, neither of which was his fault. With both of these accidents, the police on the scene told my son that he couldn't have done anything different to avoid the accident. When my husband and I heard this from the police we were very happy with our decision to enroll him and entrust him to learn through this company. Now I will tell you that these classes are not for the faint of heart. The kids who learn to drive at this school are taught to take this learning responsibility seriously. And why shouldn't they take this responsibility seriously! Driving a vehicle that weighs anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 pounds is a HUGE responsibility....life and death is in the hands of that person behind the wheel. So, I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants their child to learn to drive responsibly and defensively. I know that this choice cost more money....but is it even possible to put a price tag on the loss of a loved one.

This man is a hypocrite! I've seen him on multiple occasions using his phone while driving the vehicle designated for drivers education!!! He will tell the parents and students one thing, but trust me...
This man is a hypocrite! I've seen him on multiple occasions using his phone while driving the vehicle designated for drivers education!!! He will tell the parents and students one thing, but trust me he is no different than any other business owner, he cares not about the kids, he likes to make you think that, but it's all about the $$$ PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!!!!!

If you need a driving school, I recommend Defensive Driving Specialists. I had 2 kids go through this driving school and I have been happy with their driving. He gets behind the wheel done efficiently and works with your schedule. He doesn't schedule the BTW months apart like many other schools. Excellent teacher. I have had two children go thru the classroom style and one online. He is strict with his teaching making sure the students get the seriousness of this privilege of driving and understand that it’s not just their driving but everyone else on the road and unexpected decisions which he prepares the students to encounter. Two of my children have taken Mr. Musilek’s course. My son did the online version, because it fit into his schedule. My daughter took the traditional classroom course, which I think is best if you don’t have a scheduling conflict. I highly recommend this course for your teen.
