If you value your time, money, and safety — go somewhere else. I strongly recommend looking into Dark Horse CDL School instead of wasting a single day at Sabertooth CDL School. The biggest issue? You’re barely taught how to drive. Expect maybe 3–4 hours of actual seat time, which is completely unacceptable for something as serious as obtaining a CDL. The rest of your time is spent standing around in a chaotic, poorly run “yard” that does little more than burn daylight. The equipment is in rough shape and outdated — which reflects exactly how little they invest in their students. This isn’t training you for the real world, it’s setting you up to struggle the second you leave. Management is disorganized and inconsistent, and there’s a clear lack of professionalism across the board. You’ll hear big promises, but what you actually get is the bare minimum effort and guidance. The quality of instruction is questionable at best. This place feels more like a revolving door than an actual training program. They push people through without giving them the skills they need, which is honestly concerning considering the responsibility that comes with operating a commercial vehicle. Bottom line: This isn’t just a bad school — it’s a poor investment in your future. Do your research and choose a program that actually prepares you for the road. Read Less

As someone who was completely making a career change Sabertooth is the place to be. The class is 3 weeks long and day one your in the one of 3 trucks. My master was Scott. Thought me everything I know know and a few other this that wernt scheduled trainings. Plenty of practice either on the road or in their yard. It’s a family owned company and you can tell. From the front desk Amy has your back and will go above and beyond to answers all your questions. And in the back office there is Ashley. He helped me align my self with a few very profitable job opportunities. I can’t thank them enough. 10/10 will recommend!! Read Less

I sent an employee to this school and it isn’t worth it. Go elsewhere. The dates promised were moved multiple times pushing work farther out. The training truck windshield wasn’t even secured and would move in and out. The school promised to refund half the cost due to the fact they kept changing the dates and test dates but never did. When we called it was one lie after another. “I sent it” “It’s in the mail” “I’ll resend it”. And guess what it never showed. Lies and poor training. They never taught actual dock backing. Save your money and spend it at a reputable school. Read Less
