5 stars all the way! I took 6 hours of lessons with John who is the most patient, articulate and kind instructors I've ever met. He motivates you through his honest but objective feedback to succeed and helped me pass on the first try! I told him he would make a great therapist in the way he helps you succeed! He totally calmed my nerves just before the test which really helped. Francisco was also very helpful both on the phone and when I met him at their office.. This is a driving school that cares for their clients and their success....I totally recommend John and the team at City Freeway Driving School. Thank you John and Francisco! Read Less

I was struggling with driving schools in the past, but I highly recommend City Freeway. John is a spectacular instructor! Made me feel confident through our lessons and helped me pass the test first try. He is also super calming and patient, took 6 hours of lessons with him and he is very nice to speak to. Francisco, the manager, is also always timely and responds quickly. Thank you so much guys! Read Less

I passed my driving test with them! The owner and the instructors are very friendly and accommodating. I scheduled with them very last minute and even though they are full the owner still tried to give me a spot. The instructors are very good, they taught me properly, and they helped me to be confident. I only had 1 session with them (cause i have a driving background) but they still helped me a lot! Thank you! Read Less

I had a good experience with my driving lessons, but what made it great was Cassandra. She helped me with the route I would be tested on a couple weeks before the test, and I really was able to learn and feel prepared because of her guidance. I would definitely recommend her, she's fantastic.I passed my driving test because of her! Read Less

My driving instructor, Cassandra, was super friendly and helpful. She made sure that I learn everything I need to pass my driving test. She showed me cool roads I've never been on and taught me correct ways to change lanes, etc. I only had 3 weeks to get used to driving, but with her help, I now feel confident and safe to even drive on busy freeways! My oldest son received his classes through AAA. It was fine but, I had to drive him to meet the driving instructor. For my youngest son, I wanted someone to come and pick hime up at home. I chose City Freeway Driving School, after seeing their vehicles drive around my neighborhood. My son got driving lessons from Rufino, he was great. He was very detailed about what my son was doing well and what he needed to work on. After about 6 hours of lessons, my son passed his test. Thanks City Freeway and Rufino. Read Less

I had a very bad experience with this company. As I moved to California, I started taking some driving classes to get my California License. The instructors were nice at first, but no one was actually explaining me the rules I needed to know when you move from abroad. When my husband explained this to one of the people working there, they gave me one free hour just to keep us quiet but the guy legitimately told me that it was my fault if I don't listen to what the instructors told me. This was utterly disrespecting and - obviously- untrue. To conclude, I had to spend other 300 $ to go to a different school that was actually able to PROFESSIONALLY explain to me the rules I needed to know and understand. Read Less

We were lucky to find these guys.  The cost was reasonable. We found them to be very honest and flexible.  My teenage son said the instructor was patient and knowledgeable.  We will recommend them to other parents. Read Less

You would think someone driving around with a Driving School advertisement on their car would drive safely instead completely the opposite occurred on Katella getting onto the 55 freeway the lady driving by herself not a student was on her telephone while driving then continue to drive a radic changing lanes on the 55 South at 2:45 in the afternoon on a Friday !that one is pretty pathetic get a clue and learn how to drive yourself before trying to teach someone how to be courteous and stay off your telephone while driving your jackass Read Less

I passed the driving test! I took the 6 hour package and had my lessons with Myra and an additional class with Alexandra. Taking an additional class is a personal decision because I felt like I needed more practice. For most of my classes, Myra really gave me the confidence to drive and confidence is key to driving. The price for this driving school is one of the most affordable ones as well. Would recommend! Read Less

For anyone looking for driving instructors, I'd recommend City Freeway Driving School.  I was recommended and Myra did not disappoint.  I'm usually very nervous driving with new people, but Myra made me feel very relaxed and comfortable when she first came.  She was patient and made sure to calmly point out the mistakes I make and always made sure she explained everything thoroughly to make sure her students understood.  She would also ask if I had any questions just to make sure.  Myra is definitely a go-to instructor.  I even passed my driving's test on the first time! I got an help from this driving school for my behind the wheel test. The instructor was so thoughtful and ardent to teach in a nice way. The other driving school seems to try to earn money though. It is lucky to get a help from here! Read Less

They sucked!!! Javier picked up my daughter 10 mins late and dropped her off 20 mins early. They did this twice. Then when I called to complain the owner said they can end the lesson 10 mins early. That's more than 10 mins early. Especially when this happened 2 times. When she only gets 3 lessons. These lesson are not cheap for them to short her time. Read Less

6 Lessons and 1 test later I have a licence! Prior to taking the classes I never even drove a day in my life yet alone had my hands on a steering wheel for more than two minutes before being told to get out of the driver’s seat. At first I was really nervous about driving but it was a lot easier than I expected, it’s really all about common sense. My instructor(Javier) was very patient with me and very insightful breaking down all the things that I was afraid of such as: turning, parking, and backing up all into ways that made me realize there was nothing to fear at all. It only took 6 lessons that's it, no practice outside of theses and 1 try was all I need to pass my test. Thank you Javier for everything I am now a licensed driver in California. Read Less

Amazing! I just passed today. I'm Deaf & Hard of Hearing. My driving instructor named Mario. I'd definitely recommend Mario! He's very good at paying attention, directions, signaling, & traffic checks. We make easy communication. Mario gave me a lot of confidence. I made about 5-8 appointments for Mario. He is always right on time for picking me up. If you need to make an appointment, then call Mario! He definitely makes you an awesome driver! (: Read Less
