My daughter Skylar had Dan P as an instructor and she felt so relaxed behind the wheel for her test. I can't say enough good things about him and this location. It really was out best decision to send her there. If you are still on the fence make the appt and request Dan, you won't regret it Read Less

I’ve been working with Dan for my first two lessons and I’ve had a positive experience thus far. I feel more confident on the road with his instruction and he isn’t mean or neglectful like other driver instructors at other schools I’ve enrolled in. I think I may pass this time! Read Less

Wow! Such a wonderful place to learn how to drive. My instructor was KEVIN WILSON and he was such a great driving instructor and teacher. I definitely recommend to go to him because he makes the information Rememberable and fun to learn. The next street is the place to go!!! Read Less

I spoke to Beth Mansfield on 3/19 in the call center and explained to her that I would like to speak with a supervisor regarding a fee for rescheduling my class. She was very rude and I was told verbatim “you cannot speak to her she’s going to tell you the same thing that I said you have to pay it.” What type of business is this? Very unprofessional. I called on a Sunday to cancel my lesson due to the death of a family member and they were closed now they want me to pay another $80. Just give my certificate and keep the lessons. I’m sick of this money hungry school. Try another school if you’re looking, and I’m sure that it will be cheaper. Read Less

ok. so extreme deceptive advertising. ive taken this course and they advertise a discount upon completion. UNTRUE. i promise. 100% untrue. the ONLY company that will give a discount is liberty mutual. who next street happens to “work with” aka in bed together. I don’t care what anyone else says they will absolutely not give a discount from any other insurance company for completing this course. I called Next Street to confront them and get an answer and the best response i got was “ i’m sorry you feel that way” Save your money teach your own kid how to drive and stand in the DMV you will save yourself money and aggravation and you will absolutely not receive a discount on auto insurance Read Less

I had a great time taking the 30 hour class with Rachael at The Next Street Bristol. The course helped me prepare for driving in winter conditions by teaching me to not panic and hold onto the steering wheel firmly when skidding. I recommend The Next Street to students who want to look forward to class and parents who want their children to learn life lessons! Read Less

I sat through an awful and boring course full of nothing but a teacher telling us her stories and her mistakes while showing us videos. They rewarded every student who gave a positive review. It has been a little more then a year since i took the course and thinking back it is in no way worth the money. I honestly learned more while driving with my parents and others who actually seemed to care about anything and who didn't nag me every time i went 2 mph over the limit. I only did one of the behind the wheel lessons and hated every minute of it, and I'm honestly glad I didn't go back. Was just thinking i should give mu actual opinion, not an undeserved good review for an in class reward. Read Less

The Next Street was very helpful in teaching me about everything there is to know about driving and safety and also fully prepared me for my road test! I’ve had multiple teachers but Kevin W was my favorite as he made learning very fun and interactive! Read Less

Took a manual shift lesson today with Pam, I believe her name was, not very good with names. We spent two hours driving. She was amazing. Very nice and made it really easy to understand how to drive standard. It was a nice atmosphere and not stressful . Had a lot of fun even when stalling and trying to figure out the clutch and gas. The hills were fun. I went through The Next Street (formerly known as All Star Driving) to take classes for my regular licenses in Hamden and service was great. Wonderful service in both places. It is worth the money and I recommend The Next Street. I also recommend taking a manual shift lesson be helpful if you travel abroad or just need to know. Katherine (Kate) P. I was always nervous for driver's ed because I'm older and thought I'd be judged for getting my license so late, but Kevin made me feel welcome in class. He is a wonderful teacher and made class super enjoyable. I always leave class with a smile in my face! He's the best!! Read Less

So my son struggled with passing his road test because the examiner from the DMV obviously has a problem with god knows what and ran tests up to 30 minutes which was obviously very intimidating. The first time out he failed my son for not making a right quick enough and not looking long enough over his shoulder. The second time he just made a lot of mistakes because he had the same examiner who once again had him out for 30-35 mins??? Being like any mama bear I called and raised hell! Seeing that each time he failed we had to pay another $150. Spoke with Jeff Smith who went above and beyond. He scheduled a third exam, took time out of his day to take my son out for an evaluation prior to exam, and on test day made sure he would have a different examiner. Needless to say he passed and stated that the previous examiner's goal was to make sure he would never pass but the examiner he had on his third test was very nice and made him feel relaxed and confident and test was the standard 10-15 mins. He also stated that he knew he could drive especially after going out with Jeff who reinstated his confidence. Read Less
