I failed the first time due to a mistake which is fine but when I came back to redo it I notice that none out of the three to four African American people passed the test but all the white & Hispanics did. My second time taking it I barely got to drive around the corner & the instructor told me to stop & said “automatic fail” & didn’t tell me why Read Less

Mr. Hebert was an amazing teacher and very understanding with the way I was driving. He made sure to go through every step of driving with me and made it fun with the places we went. Overall I rate him 5 stars. Read Less

Marco is such a great instructor! Not only is it fun for the lessons but he makes you feel very comfortable especially if you’ve never driven before. He’s patient and teaches proper technique needed for driving everyday. Would defiantly recommend Jax driving school! thank you guys and thank you Marco for such a great experience! Read Less

Initially we were satisfied with the company. When they made an error with the apppointments (didn’t schedule what we agreed upon), we still were willing to work with them. The main office repeatedly called us to schedule even when we stated it was the wrong date. After the 12 hours of driving my daughter was not successful with the driving test. When I attempted to reschedule I have been given the runaround. No one bothered to return my calls or those of my husband. We feel that after you got our $533.00 we didn’t matter. I’m very disappointed in the level of service we received for the price we paid. We will not recommend your company to anyone. Read Less

I enrolled in school as I had to clear driving test to get my driving license. After going through the reviews, I decided to go with Jax Driving school. Although they have very limited slots available, I got my 6 hrs completed in 2 weeks and with a very professional instructor Steve. He is a very kind and good instructor. He showed me carefully what to and what not to do while driving, giving some very useful tips to drive and about the safety. I cleared my test with confidence in first attempt itself. I would definitely recommend Jax Driving school to all new drivers in Jacksonville. Read Less

Jax driving school is the best school in Jacksonville. I had a really great experience in here. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very patient. They give you a lot of tips on how to be a better driver. I had an issue with the 3 points and my instructor was very patient in explaining everything in simple words, he even drew it on paper. Their cars are very comfy and are equipped with all the safety tools, all that a new student would need to feel safe behind the wheel. The school is very punctual with the appointment. The front desk receptionists are very personable and they returned all of my calls in a timely manner. I have recommended this school to a few of my friends and family members and so far they have been pleased with Jax driving school's proficiency. If you want professionalism confidently I can say to call and book with Jax driving school. Read Less

I did the 8 hour drivers improvement course at this location in two days ( 8/3/17 and 8/7/17) and it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and nice. The classroom is very clean. I would recommend anyone taking a drivers improvement course to take it here! Thanks to the staff! Read Less

I signed up for this driving school at age 17, because I was so scared to drive do to an accident when I was younger. I started out hunched over the wheel going barely 5 miles an hour. My driving instructors were surprisingly animated and understanding. They encouraged me, but didn't coddle me. I understand that a driving school might not seem to be in the budget for everyone, but if doing this means I'm less likely to end up remembered as a 'Drive Safely' sign on the road surrounded by flowers ad stuffed animals, I'm willing to do it. They give you the one on one time that a driver's ed course at school can't offer. The only frustration I had was that I always seemed to call when the scheduling lady was gone. I eventually got a hold of her though, and finished scheduling. Read Less

I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks to the ten hour program and excellent instruction, especially from Jason, my driving has majorly improved in just a month. I used to have debilitating anxiety while driving and now I feel far more confident and self assured behind the wheel. This school really teaches new and inexperienced drivers a solid foundation to become great drivers and I am so happy I found them! Read Less

My experience has been nothing short of amazing! The staff is so warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful in terms of setting up appointments and overall customer service. There are quite a few positive reviews about Jason, and I definitely concur. He was a really good teacher that truly supported me and gave me a lot of good tips (the small things matter). I would definitely recommend this school for newbies or veterans that desire to brush up their skills! Read Less

Place was awesome. Easiest driving school I've ever attended. I don't understand the other peoples issues with the customer service, appts are 9am & 1pm Monday thru Friday. You show up and walk in at those times with your cash payment & boom you start your class. That simple. Read Less

Great instructors but the customer service involving setting up appointments is AWFUL.For my final road test, I was told a certain time and day to wait outside and I stood there for 2 hours before I was called and told that I had not shown up to the appointment when I was there the whole time.A very shady business so make sure you get a name when scheduling any appointments. The instructors were fair and crystal clear but they may try and cut instruction short by about an half an hour, so speak up!Would not recommend unless you can't find a better option. Driving School cancels appointments and then cancels appointments that were rescheduled then will not return you calls so that you can get a least a refund of the balance of the hours owed. It is a scam, so buyer beware. Read Less

This school is HORRIBLE! They do not keep their words. I understand it's all about the money for them but they should at least do the job properly and try not to make students frustrated. Hope no one will have the same experience like I had. Read Less

They are very irresponsible. The lady answering the phone was nice at first but after a while she became kind of rude and not willing to help at all. I wish I had not chosen this school... My instructor was okay, but they do not keep their words. I was confused and irritated all the time because I had no idea when my lesson was and sometimes I only got to have a lesson once in ten days. That's so irritating for someone in a hurry. Read Less

these people are RUDE, the instructor came to my door to tell me how to parent my teen. I am not sure who he thinks he is but thats not right. I do feel my son is learning from them but this first impression has me upset enough NOT to recommend this company. Read Less

I had a very good experience with Jax Driving School. My daughter was learning to drive, and I thought it best she go to professionals to assist in the process. Nothing but good to say about the experience. Thank you Jason! Read Less
