I am very pleased with James as an instructor, he is patient and professional. The inquiry process may seem strange to most, as the other reviews suggest, but it’s advisable to just text instead of call. I have availed 10 sessions, and the experience is truly superb! I am an adult, in her 30s and never learned how to drive. I have zero knowledge, haven’t even started a car before the lessons. I was able to learn the fundamentals of driving with his guidance. James is calm and clear with his instructions, making it easy for me to understand.

I was a bit hesitant about taking lessons from About Driving LLC, but I'm glad I took the chance! Mr. James Onishi is a wonderful instructor. His responses were prompt and I was able to start my lessons quickly without much wait time. For a long time I was nervous on the road, but from the first lesson I felt the most comfortable I'd ever been behind the wheel. Mr. Onishi's lessons were tailored to my needs and as a person that needs objective instructions, he was able to provide clear and simple step-by-step guides and markers for skills like parking. His vehicle is very easy to drive and what I appreciate most is he let me choose where to meet and where to end each lesson. He has a very funny but level-headed demeanor (imagine your cool asian uncle). Of the schools I researched, he was the only one that offered the best in convenience (in location), availability, and price. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Mr. Onishi.

Tried to contact them and got a reply over text to call the next day. One week later after leaving a voice message, still no answer or call back, totally unprofessional.
