Gary is a great instructor, he makes conversation with you and helps you learn from your mistakes instead of just telling you what you’re doing wrong. I scheduled Gary for all of my drives because of this. Very impressed. Ms. Gonzalez was a very good test examiner, she was very good at communicating what to do and very kind before and after the test. Read Less

Seems a few people here have left negative reviews about Munros' Driving, including the school's instructor, Betsy. I dissent. I went to this school almost 10 years ago and Betsy was my teacher. She was the strict, old-school, and professional teacher who did not put up with any crap from rude, spoiled teenagers. Her driving lessons with me were professionally done, and I scored 3rd highest in the class's written test. She also gave me my final drive test, and I passed it on my first try. Betsy, after all these years, I would like to say thank you for everything, especially for being the kind of teacher that every kid should have. While I'm here, I'd would also like to say hello to the kid who was my seatmate during the course of the class program. Wherever you are, I hope you are doing well. I think of you now and then. To any parent that is enrolling their teen in a drivers ed course, Munro's is the way to go! It seemed like the class flew by so fast! My daughter had Stacie as her instructor. She was very patient, informative, and kind. She was always available for questions or concerns. My daughter feels confident behind the wheel, and I'm getting there. Lol. Thank you!!! Read Less

The driving teacher Andrew was very helpful in teaching me how to back around the curb which is something I had a hard time understanding at first, and how to parallel park as well as shoulder checking. Other staff was very helpful as well. Read Less

My out of state license had expired before I was able to get my Washington license, so I unfortunately had to take the written and drive tests in order to qualify, and was a bit apprehensive about doing this again after 15 years. The staff at Munro's made me feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way! After reading other reviews and making note to be aware of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews, I proceeded with Munro's. Their website has all the information needed, the staff was very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person, making sure I knew what was to be expected, along with their policies/procedures and the instructors were great as well! I cannot recommend Munro's highly enough, and with multiple locations, it makes it very convenient as well!!NOTE: Be sure to listen to the staff as well as carefully read the website as to what is required and expected and you can avoid the "Negative" experience others reviewed about on here!! I highly recommend Munros Driving Instruction. My daughter is just finishing up her drivers ed and she loved it. She loved her instructor Scott. So a little story we were in a car accident back in July hit by a man who ran a red light and hit my daughters side his truck was stuck in her door it was a scary traumatic experience for her and our family. My daughter didn’t want to learn how to drive after that, but Munros has such great instructors that helped her be so comfortable getting behind the wheel. Thank you Munros Driving Instruction for helping my daughter. she learned very quickly and couldn’t have done it without your help. Valerie McCormack - Jasmine Montes Read Less

I could not have been happier with my daughter drivers ed class. She mastered the skills quickly, surprising me with things when we would drive (in a good way). She passed her written test on the first try. They really did a great job of teaching her everything she needed to know and more.Read Less

I had not driven in a really long time and had pretty bad anxiety but Andrew made it so it wasn't as daunting and I felt comfortable. His positive reassurance and patience made it that much easier. He is the best ! Read Less

Not only did my Daughter fully enjoy his experience taking this course, but I also could tell how much knowledge she had leaving each class or drive that he did not have prior. I am confident in his skills and the information taught to him was well recieved as it was well given. The teacher Betsy was amazing. Read Less

Just had my second child complete this course both with success. They both said how good the teachers are at engaging the students in class. My daughter said she liked the fact that John never yelled at her when she made a mistake 🙂 Highly recommend all students do this course. Thank you ! Read Less

Was really happy to put my child through Munro's for Drivers Ed! The parent orientation with the instructor was helpful in seeing how the students would be taught - realistically and with humor, and the requirements for passing were made really clear - how many classes a student could miss, which ones could/couldn't make up, etc. only wish I had known about the Anacortes location also - the Mt Vernon location was out of the way for us in the schedule of kid pickups/school/sports etc. Read Less

Munros' Driving Instruction was very beneficial for me. I learned much throughout the classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel instruction. I felt like I was getting a thorough driving education, and I was treated very well. I would highly recommend this course to any new driver. -Rebecca H. Read Less
